About NIMF

The International Medical Faculty (NIMF) was founded under Decision No. …, with the vision of elevating educational standards, developing a global learning environment, and facilitating international integration for health sector students. The primary aim is to build a robust platform for the advancement of medical education, addressing the increasing demand for quality training and research in the medical field.

The school also plans to offer training programs for international students in medicine and healthcare, thereby contributing to the creation of a high-caliber medical workforce to support healthcare services in Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region.

Our Dean

NIMF was established by Associate Professor Dr. Phillip Tran, who serves as the Dean of the International Medical Academic Council at Nam Can Tho University and Chairman of the Academic Council at Dignity Health, YRMC.

Dr. Tran has been instrumental in the growth of Nam Can Tho University Medical Center and the university itself. He is also the founder of VMGs, an organization that pioneered the training and preparation of Vietnamese doctors for US residency programs.

Looking forward, the International Medical Faculty aims to develop training programs that adhere to international standards, supported by a distinguished team of faculty with extensive national and international experience.
